This company is a fast-growing seed stage startup developing a next-generation AI platform for the commercial real estate industry. In just a few months, the team launched the first version of its product, raised a successful funding round and 10x’d revenue over the last few months. Supported by leading investors and industry experts, the focus is now on refining the product and scaling aggressively through next year.

About You:

They’re hiring a Machine Learning Engineer with strong expertise in deep learning and PyTorch to help solve real-world computer vision challenges. You’ll work on a small, high-performing team delivering production-grade ML systems, from data pipelines to fine-tuned models. The ideal candidate is deeply familiar with model development and training workflows and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment where experimentation and ownership are key.

This position is well-suited to someone who enjoys working close to the model while building, training, evaluating, and integrating solutions that go beyond off-the-shelf applications.

Responsibilities:

• Build and refine deep learning models for tasks such as layout analysis, object detection, OCR, and more. Design custom architectures or adapt existing ones to suit specific needs.
• Create annotation processes, manage and curate labeled datasets, and develop efficient data sampling and bootstrapping techniques.
• Define evaluation metrics, monitor deployed models, and proactively identify and resolve failure cases.
• Work with the broader engineering team to integrate ML models into product infrastructure. Contribute to architectural planning and roadmap discussions

Qualifications:

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on Machine Learning.
• 2+ years of experience working with PyTorch to build and adapt models.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with computer vision use cases such as object detection or semantic segmentation.
• Bonus: experience with OpenCV

Compensation:

• $140k-$180k + Equity
